FOR FOREIGN VOLUNTEERS
HELP THE SOLDIERS
25th AB?
Your contribution can save lives and support the bravery of our defenders on the front lines. Any amount of assistance can be directed towards purchasing necessary transportation for maneuverability in the combat zone, modern weaponry for effective task execution, reliable gear for protection and safety, as well as medical supplies and equipment for the rapid recovery of our fighters after injuries. Your support is of vital importance to our heroes who risk everything every day for our common safety and peace.
First, you should contact our recruiting center or fill out an application on this website. After receiving written consent for service in the brigade, you should proceed to your local military enlistment office (TCK) based on your place of residence. There, they will provide you with a list of required documents and guide you through the medical examination process.
According to the legislation of Ukraine, a citizen of our country can be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine or sign a contract if they are between the ages of 20 and 59.
No, it is not mandatory. The airborne assault forces have their own training center in the city Zhytomyr, where you will be trained by the best instructors with significant combat experience both in the ATO/ATO zone and during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Our paratroopers have also participated in international exercises where instructors came from NATO member countries. Those who already have combat experience but with a break of no more than 5 years are sent directly to a brigade where they also undergo continuous training and education
Your health condition is determined directly at the military medical commission at the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC). It’s important to remember that following the medical examination, you should receive a note stating “fit for service in the Airborne Assault Forces.” This means that you do not have chronic illnesses, dependencies, or injuries that would hinder the performance of physical activities. In the military unit itself, there will be gradual training to improve physical endurance.
Yes, of course. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, in general, and the Airborne Assault Forces as a part of them, can be quite flexible and adaptable. From our brigade, soldiers are regularly sent to attend sergeant courses and undergo training at military academies to obtain their initial officer rank, provided they have a civilian higher education level not lower than a “bachelor’s” degree. So, if you have the ambition and determination, you won’t have a lack of opportunities for advancement.
