Defense of strategic facilities: The brigade served at checkpoints near Sloviansk and took part in the defense of Luhansk Airport.
Liberation of Krasnyi Lyman: In June 2014, the brigade actively participated in the operation to liberate this settlement.
Defense of the checkpoint in Kramatorsk: On June 9, 2014, despite the difficulties and losses, the brigade successfully defended the strategic checkpoint.
Continued participation in combat operations in 2019: The brigade held positions in Luhansk region for nearly seven months, involving around 1,000 fighters.
Operations in July and August 2014: Including the liberation of Sloviansk, the unblocking of Ukrainian units, and participation in the attempt to capture Shakhtarsk.
Taking control of strategic settlements: In August 2014, the brigade was involved in operations to take control of Vuhlehirsk, Oleksandrivsk, Vilkhuvatka, and Bulavynske.
Fighting for Donetsk Airport: In January 2015, a part of the brigade was in the combat zone for this key object.
The full-scale invasion was met by units of the brigade on the Avdiivka direction, where they held the defense until June 2022. The personnel of the brigade actively participated in combat operations in the directions of Avdiivka, Volnovakha, Lysychansk, Bakhmut, Sloviansk, and Toretsk.
From October 2022 to June 2023, the brigade personnel participated in a defensive operation in the Svatove-Kreminsky direction. Since July 2023, the brigade’s personnel have been carrying out tasks on the Kupyansk-Svatove direction, holding back daily enemy assaults.
With the onset of the hot phase of the war in the east in April, when Russian saboteurs captured Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and a series of other cities, units of the brigade took control of Kramatorsk Airport. Later, brigade fighters took part in battles for Sloviansk, Krasnyi Lyman, and the first battle for Donetsk International Airport. During the buildup of the Ukrainian forces at Luhansk International Airport, one of the military transport planes, an Il-76, was shot down on the night of June 14, resulting in the loss of 40 paratroopers from the brigade and the aircraft crew. During the summer, the brigade’s units were involved in heavy fighting for Shakhtarsk, unblocking the encircled troops on the border, supporting raid actions by the 95th Airmobile Brigade, liberating Debaltseve, and storming Savur-Mohyla. In the winter campaign of 2015, brigade fighters participated in battles for Donetsk International Airport and Avdiivka. The personnel took part in the anti-terrorist operation in the areas of Avdiivka, Toretsk, Zaitseve, Maiorske, Schastia, and Stanytsia-Luhanska.
The liberation of the city of Izyum in September 2022 was one of the crucial operations during the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region amid the Russian-Ukrainian war. The role of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade in the liberation of the city of Izyum was crucial for the successful retaking of the territory from Russian occupation. Shortly before the liberation of the city Izyum, the fighters of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade were among the first to break through the corridor to the city, which was then controlled by Russian forces. Thanks to timely coordination with other military formations, the 25th Separate Brigade worked in a coordinated manner with other military units and units that also participated in the liberation of the city and approached it from different directions.
From September 22 to October 3, 2022, conducting search and strike actions on the Lyman direction contributed to the blocking and destruction of the enemy in the town of Lyman, liberating the occupied settlements of the Lyman community in Donetsk region. Thanks to the conducted search and strike actions, conditions were created for further counteroffensive by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk direction.
On September 6, 2022, as a result of a counterattack, the enemy’s defense was breached on the Balakliya-Volokhiv Yar line in the Kharkiv region, and search and strike actions were conducted in the Izyum direction, resulting in the liberation of the settlements in the Chuguiv and Izyum districts of the Kharkiv region from the occupiers. On September 10, 2022, units of the 25th Airborne Brigade and the 80th Airmobile Brigade liberated the city of Izyum.

- NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) Defense Company: Provides protection against nuclear, chemical, and biological threats.

- Airborne Support Company: Facilitates the deployment of airborne units.
- Supply and Logistics Company: Manages logistics and supplies.
Medical Platoon: Provides first aid and evacuation of the wounded.
Responsible for air defense and protection against enemy aviation threats.
Training grounds for live firing exercises and tactical training, where soldiers hone their skills and coordination in realistic combat situations.
